There are a number of ways to be praying for those incarcerated in Montgomery County Jail. The first, is simply committing to praying for the Jail, including the Inmates, Chaplain, Jail Leadership and Officers. However, the best way to be engaged though prayer is with either The Jail Prayer Team, and Shemayah (email Prayer Team).

Jail Prayer Team
The team meets every 5-6 weeks and prayers for the inmates, staff and volunteers of Montgomery County Jail.
Meetings are typical on Mondays, 6-7:30pm, sharing a light meal. (Meeting on Riverside Drive).
Shemayah Prayer Team
Shemayah Prayer Team receives Inmate Prayers & Praise via email.
Inmates receive a blank Prayer Request Form (one side Prayers, the other for Praise) which they are invited to fill out, then return to the Chaplain, to be forwarded to the Prayer Team.
The forms are emailed out (either Weekly, or Monthly) to the Prayer Team exactly as written, with the request that they are prayer over for the next 7 days.
The inmates then receive another blank sheet, to submit more prayer requests, if they wish to do so.
